Things to remember for Wednesday's Final

Hello Everyone, Here are a few things to remember for Tomorrow's Final (11:45 to 1:45 in FH 213A)

 1. Your Annotated Bibliography (click here) is due tomorrow. Make sure you follow either APA or MLA format, according to your handbook. Remember, it is meant to highlight whatever project you completed for your presentation, so you can use it as part of your presentation.

2. Your presentation should be about whatever change you proposed in your third paper. During your presentation, you should be able to - Discuss the background of your project and why this is a problem and your solution to that problem - Discuss what you thought the project would be like. - Discuss how the project actually turned out. - Discuss what others can learn about your project or similar projects to your own. Be prepared to discuss your project for at least 5-7 minutes total, with some time for questions from your classmates. Your grade will consist of my evaluation of your presentation and your classmates evaluation of your presentation. Make sure you are on time and that you come prepared for the final. Please come presentable because we may have other faculty or people from the community sitting in on your presentations.

3. Some of you have not turned in your core 3 paper.  Wednesday is the last day I will pick up any revisions of your papers or your core 3 paper. Take care and I will see you tomorrow.

Concerning your Grades...

Last Friday, a computer virus screwed up my computer to the point where I could not restart my computer. I'm currently having my drive cleaned and Windows 7 reinstalled. Your grade sheets were on my computer, but those files are recoverable and I will be e-mailing your grade sheets as soon as I get my computer back. I was hoping to get my computer before Tuesday's class so I could at least print out your sheets, but I was not able to by this evening.

I apologize for the delay and hopefully this grade and the grade for the paper you just turned in should be back to you via e-mail by the end of this week.

You will need the following in your manila envelope for next class:

1. Final Draft (with citations)
2. Rough Drafts (from group peer review)
3. Rough Draft (from initial peer review)
4. Quizzes
5. Everything else

Use sticky notes to designate these sections in your manila envelope. You will also write a reflection paper for this assignment. Make sure you come prepared to class with paper, pen and a rough idea for your reflection paper.

Rough Drafts Due Today! (Revised with Group List)

Hello Everyone,

Make sure you send me a draft of your paper by Noon today! You can e-mail it to me at gary.ancheta.enc(at)gmail.com. I will post you and your groups this afternoon, so I need everyone's draft by noon today so I can put you in a group. Remember, we need your draft to be as close to completed as possible so we can give fair recommendations for your final draft due on Thursday.
